Responsibilities

• Abscesses and fistulae – infections near the anus and rectum.

• Anal skin tags – small bumps of skin around the anus.

• Colon and rectal cancer

• Diverticulitis – a disease in which pouches form in weak spots along the digestive tract.

• Fissures – small tears in the anal lining.

• Hemorrhoids – swollen veins that can occur internally or externally around the anus.

• Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

• Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Requirements

• DHA license

• Excellent bed-side manner

• At least 6 years of experience as a surgeon
