Geotechnical engineer involved with planning, design and partial supervision of ground investigations, interpretation of geotechnical data, development of the ground model, foundation solutions, detailed design of underground structures (shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls etc.) and specifications. Based full time in the design office in Dubai (DED). Support Site (e.g., RDIs), Tender Department (e.g., value engineering) and D&B projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design of ground investigation including scoping and specification
- Analysis of soil and rock data and derivation of appropriate design parameters
- Design of underground structures, mostly foundations and retaining walls
- Supervision (visit or partial supervision) of ground investigation and foundation work
Requirements:
- Candidate should have up to 5 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering
- Middle East experience is a plus.
- Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from a reputed university preferably a European university.
- Proficient in English communication skills
- Good computer/software skills
