We’re looking for experienced professionals to join our dynamic team for the role of AML ANALYST – Trade Based Money Laundering in Compliance – Head Office, Karachi

Job description:

1. Correspond with banks regarding Status of Customer Overdues Framework for Managing Risks of Trade Based Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
2. Timely respond to Correspondent back regarding Status of Customer Overdues Framework for Managing Risks of Trade Based Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
3. Assist Head of TBML in identifying and reporting new and / or changing areas of ML/TF regulations related to foreign trade and initiate their adoption process.
4. Substantial discussion / feedback research elaborate regarding SBP TBML Framework
5. Assist Head of TBML in implementation and continuous updation of transaction monitoring mechanism for identification of red flags in foreign trade transactions and possible reporting of Suspicious Transactions Reports (STRs) for reporting to FMU in line with regulatory guidelines.
6. Analyze/ Assis / investigate and reporting of TBML related STR to FMU as discuss with head of TBML unit. Assist the Head of TBML in Implementing the SBP TBML Framework.
7. Handle TBML related data / information requisitions, both Adhoc and Periodic from internal as well as external stakeholders to ensure their timely provision.
8. Timely reporting of ICS TBML Control Checklist on quarterly basis. As well as reporting of Red flag raised at the end of every month from trade compliance team.
9. Contribute in development and updation of training material and delivery of training related to the function. Prepare the training material like presentation, policy for SBP TBML framework in order to assist and provide the information to the branch staff regarding TBML framework.
10. Provide consultative advisory to trade staff on TBML related issues and disposing of queries after researching and analyzing available sources of regulatory guidance in response to specific queries.
11. Assist / Analyze and resolve the queries of branches related to TBML.
12. Review and assessment of TBML file notes in HPLUS related to import and export for possible identification of STRs
