Description:
- Implementation of best practice Operational Risk tools to be rolled out to the 1st Line and 2nd Line business units with respect to identification of risks, preventative and detective controls that manage such risks, along with enabling a structured approach to internal control review and enhancement in the 1st Line of Defence.
- Work with the business lines to perform forensic analysis of significant Operational Risk Incidents and agree mitigating actions. Track actions through to closure.
- Enhance the existing Operational Risk Self-Assessment tool across the company/bank to encourage the self –assessment and subsequent mitigation of Operational Risks.
- Develop and maintain of an ‘Operational Risk Inventory’ to monitor and report upon all open Operational Risk Issues and Actions.
- Review risk policies and operational procedures against the Bank’s risk policies, Enterprise-wide Risk Management and internal control frameworks.
