Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace
- Responsible for HACCP/Pre-requisite Program implementation through monitoring, coordination, assessment, verification and follow-up.
- Responsible for all safety inspections in the workplace.
- Monitor, evaluate and review existing, new and upcoming Health and Safety legislation and ensure that the College has systems and procedures in place to meet legal compliance.
- Assists the Commercial, Engineering, Stewarding, and Operations Department in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work.
- Keeps updated with the latest industry trends as well as UAE and Dubai Housing Regulations and new products in the market.
- Undertake and attend fire drills and housing inspections
- Create, maintain and verify records of all HACCP and Health and Safety Reports documentation.
- Perform hazard analysis & continual improvement in food safety.
- Makes recommendations for areas of improvement related to Food & Safety.
- Offering general health and safety advice to all employees
- Working with and training all employees to manage, monitor, and improve the health and safety standards in the workplace.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum three 3 years experience in a Similar Role
- Excellent English oral and written skills.
- Works in a safe, prudent, and organized manner
- Have a complete understanding of health and safety standards/ procedures
- Ability to operate computer and office equipment with proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. Applies a professional, confidential, and ethical approach at all times.
