Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace
  • Responsible for HACCP/Pre-requisite Program implementation through monitoring, coordination, assessment, verification and follow-up.
  • Responsible for all safety inspections in the workplace.
  • Monitor, evaluate and review existing, new and upcoming Health and Safety legislation and ensure that the College has systems and procedures in place to meet legal compliance.
  • Assists the Commercial, Engineering, Stewarding, and Operations Department in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work.
  • Keeps updated with the latest industry trends as well as UAE and Dubai Housing Regulations and new products in the market.
  • Undertake and attend fire drills and housing inspections
  • Create, maintain and verify records of all HACCP and Health and Safety Reports documentation.
  • Perform hazard analysis & continual improvement in food safety.
  • Makes recommendations for areas of improvement related to Food & Safety.
  • Offering general health and safety advice to all employees
  • Working with and training all employees to manage, monitor, and improve the health and safety standards in the workplace.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum three 3 years experience in a Similar Role
  • Excellent English oral and written skills.
  • Works in a safe, prudent, and organized manner
  • Have a complete understanding of health and safety standards/ procedures
  • Ability to operate computer and office equipment with proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Applies a professional, confidential, and ethical approach at all times.
