Description:
- Maintain economical fuel consumption through good driving practices and ensure vehicles are filled with a full tank at the end of each shift.
- Inspect Truck, Car-Carrier and load for defect during and after trips and submit a written report if any defect found.
- Submit all relevant items listed in the driver SOP accurately and on time; including Trip Sheets, Fuel Receipts, signed DOs, Police Reports and Defect Sheets.
- Maintain a 100% damage-free record. Â Report all accident or incidents involving company equipment to Planning Team. Â Accurately maintain driver logbook in accordance with company requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Heavy-duty vehicle UAE driving license with class category 3 & 4.
- At least 2 years’ experience in driving car carriers, flat bed or low bed trailer trucks and heavy goods vehicles.
- Ability to speak, read and write in English and preferably some basic Arabic speaking & writing skills.
- Willing to work at an open yard
