We are looking for an HR Assistant to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties.The HR Assistant duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our HR department, from coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee database to posting job ads. An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. You’ll also assist in creating policies, processes and documents.
Responsibilities:
- Be involved in the recruitment process through preparing job descriptions, posting ads, managing the hiring process etc
- Develop and implement effective on-boarding plans
- Offer counselling on policies and procedures
- Assist in payroll administration
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives as well as systems in the company
- Handle employee filing system
- Stay up to date with the latest HR trends and best practice
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or a related position
- At least 1 or more years of experience in the human resource field required
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have good knowledge of laws relating to employee relations in the UAE
- Excellent time management skills required
- Proficiency with MS Office application
