Job Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate data from various sources including Intelex, perform trending and analysis on Hub and country performance and reports on HSSE incidents to regulators, Global/LD/Country/Hub Managers and report LTIs serious and fatal incidents (immediately) to Global HSSE Manager & respective Hub Managers.
  • Participate/conduct incident investigations and reviews to determine root causes, identifying organization weaknesses, areas for improvement, ensuring follow up, lessons learnt assurance and continuous improvements.
  • Periodically report progress on implementation of Division & ABB Group Sustainability objectives and KPIs to Global Division HSSE Manager, Hub Manager & ABB Group, as required.
  • Track and assess Hub/country-related emerging trends and legislation and communicate country relevant information on HSSE local legal requirements.
  • Assist Hub Manager, extended team & LD teams in understanding their obligations, liability and how to fulfil their role, according to local HSSE law & Global Division instructions.
  • Provide or participate in efficient and competent delivery of training, audit and key risk programs within the constituent Hub/countries or via shared service centers, where they exist.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in HSSE Management, NEBOSH Diploma,IEMA or equivalent
  • 12+ years industry experience as an HSSE professional, including at least 5 years in a lead role, independent, self-motivated leader with a passion for HSSE work.
  • Experience in managing large and complex projects, with integration of automation and electrical part, field instrumentation and erection.
  • Very familiar with ILO (International Labour Organization). Familiar with Tripod Beta incident investigation methodology, construction and Automation activities in On- and Offshore work environments.v
