- Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot
- ITIL or CoBIT an advantage
- Thorough understanding of IT security concepts and principles
- Experience with Ethernet networking, LAN/WAN network technologies, the OSI model, TCP/IP, switching, routing, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs
As a Specialist, IT – Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all resort software systems including ensuring backups are properly carried out and periodically tested. Additional responsibilities include supervising all activities within the IT support team and maintaining and updating all required standard. Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, communicating status, risks and opportunities to the IT Operations Director. Being responsible for the capacity planning of IT, ensuring the hotel data is secured and in line with the stated standards and best practices, and ensuring that all backups are taken on time and documented.
