Responsibilities:
- Produce software solutions using efficient and quality development methods
- Deliver functionalities having taken care to have them validated
- Be creative by coming up with new ideas
- Participate in code reviews and best practice discussions
- Write documentation related to the developed modules
- Participate in the estimation of programming tasks
- Provide technical leadership to support other team members.
Requirements:
- Graduate: Degree in engineering (software, electrical, industrial, …)
- Experienced: 1 to 5 years of development experience with NI LabVIEW software, object-oriented programming, use of design patterns, integration and development of instrument drivers.
- Mobile: May occasionally travel to Europe or the United States/Mexico for 1 to 4 weeks for certain mandates.
- Desired traits: likes teamwork, resourceful, autonomous, strong desire to learn and improve, concern for quality, good communication.
- Competent: The candidate must be comfortable in a multidisciplinary engineering environment that goes beyond the purely software context and will have to work in a team with specialists in electronics, mechanics, embedded systems, etc.
- The candidate will have to contribute to this team by bringing his experience and expertise in software product development.
- Assets: NI TestStand, NI certifications (CLD/CLA/CTD), LabVIEW FPGA, LabVIEW Real Time, .Net Bilingual: Mastering written and spoken French and English, any other language is an asset.
