Learning Support Assistant
Al Salam Private School
Learning Support Assistant
Job Position – Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Secondary Level
Company Name – Al Salam Private School
Alright, here’s the deal: Al Salam Private School needs a Learning Support Assistant for the secondary crew. If you’re the sort who actually gives a damn about kids—especially Students of Determination—getting the spotlight and real support, this is basically your sign. You’ll be smack in the middle of things, sleeves up, making sure these students do more than just scrape by. We’re talking real impact, not just ticking boxes.
Being an LSA? Oh man, you’re right in the chaos—shoulder to shoulder with teachers, that Head of Inclusion (which sounds way fancier than it actually is), a gaggle of parents, and, obviously, the kids. Forget lurking in the background, hoping no one notices you. Some days you’re glued to one kid like their personal sidekick, other days you’re herding a tiny squad, and then—boom—you’re wrangling the whole circus. You gotta get creative, too. Whatever it takes to make stuff click for them. And don’t even think it’s just about test scores or gold stars. Nah, you’re helping these kids grow up, learn how to not bite each other’s heads off, and figure out who they even are. Sounds like a lot? It totally is. Kind of a superhero gig, if you ask me.
Requirements:
– Got a Bachelor’s in Education or something close? That’s a big plus.
– At least two years doing a similar gig—no newbies, sorry.
– You need to be a communication wizard, great with people, and not a total mess with organisation.
– Patience is key, kindness goes a long way, and you gotta actually want to get stuff done.
