 About LOFT Contracting L.L.C.

Been around since 2005, LOFT Contracting is basically one of those “if you know, you know” companies in Dubai’s construction scene. We’ve done it all—homes, offices, big industrial stuff. Not to brag, but our projects actually stay up. We’re about quality, safety (because yeah, that’s kinda important when you’re building stuff), and making clients happy enough that they keep coming back.

 Construction Manager
– Be the boss on site. Get stuff done on time.
– Juggle crews, budgets, and dodge safety nightmares.
– Deal with clients, consultants, subs—basically, keep everyone in line.
You’ll need:
– Degree in Civil Engineering (or close enough).
– 5+ years in UAE running projects.
– Got people skills? You’ll need them.

 Project Engineer
– Watch the site like a hawk.
– Keep everyone on the same page.
– Help with buying stuff, paperwork, and making sure nobody cuts corners.
You’ll need:
– Engineering degree (Civil/MEP).
– 5 years doing this in the UAE.
– Know your way around project tools.

Site Engineer
– Make sure the build matches the drawings (no sketchy shortcuts).
– Keep the labor and gear flowing.
– Watch schedules, safety, and quality.
You’ll need:
– Civil Engineering degree.
– 5 years on UAE sites.
– Actually know those local codes.

Planning Engineer
– Build project schedules (and keep them alive).
– Write up progress reports and get things back on track when they’re slipping.
– Work with managers and other engineers.
You’ll need:
– Engineering degree, plus Primavera P6 skills.
– 5 years planning stuff in the UAE.
– Good at numbers and not panicking under pressure.

QA/QC Engineer
– Be the quality cop (keep those standards high).
– Inspect, test, and fill out paperwork.
– Get consultant sign-offs and handle those dreaded NCRs.
You’ll need:
– Engineering degree, QA/QC experience.
– 5+ years in UAE.
– Know your ISO, know your docs.

Technical Engineer
– Help the crew with technical headaches.
– Review drawings, spot mistakes.
– Fix problems fast, no drama.
You’ll need:
– Engineering degree.
– 5 years in UAE.
– Know CAD and all that jazz.

 MEP Engineer
– Run MEP installs and tests.
– Keep subs and consultants in sync.
– Make sure it all works, no meltdowns.
You’ll need:
– Mech/Electrical Engineering degree.
– 5 years in UAE, MEP focus.
– Actually understand HVAC, plumbing, and sparky stuff.

Electrical Engineer
– Manage installs, testing, commissioning.
– Follow DEWA and local regs to the letter.
– Help with design tweaks and troubleshooting.
You’ll need:
– Electrical Engineering degree.
– 5 years UAE.
– Know the local electrical codebook.

SUPPORT ROLES

 Draughtsman
– Whip up drawings using AutoCAD (duh) and other tools.
– Update stuff when the site inevitably changes.
You’ll need:
– Drafting/Engineering diploma.
– 5+ years drawing things for construction in UAE.
– Actually good with AutoCAD.

Safety Engineer
– Make site safety plans that don’t just look good on paper.
– Run trainings, do audits, keep people from getting hurt.
– Follow UAE HSE rules like your life depends on it (sometimes, it does).
You’ll need:
– NEBOSH/OSHA cert.
– 5 years UAE construction safety.
– Know the local HSE playbook.

Document Controller (Head Office & Site)
– Handle submittals, approvals, and make sure nobody loses the plot.
You’ll need:
– Experience with construction docs.
– Organized (like, super organized).
– 5 years UAE experience.
