Job Description

We urgently need an experienced healthcare administrator for our community. We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience. Aside from these qualifications, you should look for someone who has a proven track record of providing excellent care and customer service, as well as a lengthy stay with the facility. Healthcare administrators are in responsible of ensuring that residents get the best possible care and service by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Healthcare Center in accordance with appropriate business, federal, state, and local standards.

Requirements:

  • Assists other community department managers in providing the highest level of care for residents at all times.
  • For the sake of patient and provider satisfaction, daily rounding is visible and apparent. Immediately available to address any issues that may arise in the course of normal business operations. Create a personnel strategy that satisfies both the needs of your customers and your company’s budget. Encourage good change via active participation and feedback from your employees.
  • The processes of interviewing, hiring, and training workers; teaching, coaching, and directing work; conducting performance evaluations, awarding and recognizing employees, disciplining employees, handling complaints, and resolving disputes are all facilitated.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative, trustworthy relationships with physicians/providers by often interacting and interacting with them to give direction and supervision for successful scheduling, efficient clinic work flow, and patient flow.
  • Individuals, including but not limited to: recruits, trains, assigns tasks, oversees & assesses performance, performs professional development programs. Ensures that the department’s overall operational objectives are met or supported by the group’s productivity and activities.
  • Leads direct reports in the implementation of work plans and short- and long-term objectives. Provides leadership. Supporting procedures and systems are updated at the site level. Site objectives are implemented and completed.
  • If a patient complaint must be escalated, analyze the situation, take into consideration potential hazards, identify a solution that is both safe and effective, and address clinical care difficulties, among other factors.
  • The rights of patients and residents to fair and equal treatment, self-determination, uniqueness and privacy are to be respected.
  • Budgets are prepared and adhered to for departmental employment, revenue, and/or costs. Assessed the potential influence on budgetary capacity of new company initiatives.
  • This role plans, develops, organizes, evaluates, and implements programs and activities for residents. This individual is in charge of the Healthcare Center’s staff and volunteers.

Skills:

 

  • Personnel, residents/patients, families, guests, as well as government agencies/staff and the general public must be able to engage with one another politely.
  • Must be a natural leader capable of collaborating with and supervising others.
  • Experience in healthcare administration and/or resident services administration for at least two (2) years is necessary.
  • A bachelor’s degree in health care, business administration, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university is strongly encouraged.
  • Long-term care administrators must be familiar with all applicable state and federal rules, nursing practices, and all laws, regulations, and standards pertaining to the administration of long-term care facilities.
