About the role/Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate purchasing contracts before it goes on sale to ensure YouTravel has most competitive contract in the appropriate source market & validate all aspects such as room names, occupancies & market restrictions.
  • Analyze price & market in all relevant source markets, such as competitor pricing, flight capacity & margins to support sales strategy by identifying & exploring any missed opportunities.
  • Maintain the company product portfolio by maximizing sales & profit.
  • Build strong relationships with DMC’s, hotel partners & trade customers to ensure competiveness within the market.
  • Evaluate & tracking the Budget on a weekly basis (Room Nights & Margin target) to anticipate shortfalls if any.
  • Identify new hotels to diversify the product range.
  • Maintain the contract ensuring hotel is always competitive & keeping a healthy ROS (rate of sale) through exclusive offers, allocation, reduced release periods, and maximizing availability.
  • Risk Recovery – Track guarantees and/or group owned hotels ensuring high occupancy & recover any risk with high yield.
  • Maintain knowledge of key events in assigned markets and their impact on hotel availability. Full understand of data analysis to make informed decisions impacting sales in a positive way through business intelligence platforms such as Power BI.
  • Create weekly report mechanism for senior management to have a better overview and ensure sound decisions.
  • Prepare presentations to different stakeholders on various topics such as market trends, potential supplier onboarding and sales.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team on creating new & innovative reporting dashboards.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to decide on promotional campaigns for the destination or hotels.
  • Identify barriers to sales opportunities such as mapping or loading errors that potentially impact sales/availability & work efficiently to resolve issues & ensure product remains on sale and at competitive rates.

About You

  • 4-5 years’ experience, out of which 2-3 years’ experience in a Sales or Business Development position preferably in a multinational company.
  • Familiarity in dealing with tour operator partners.
  • MS Office.
