Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Director of Marketing to lead our retention, lifecycle, and integrated marketing efforts. This role involves building customer loyalty, increasing engagement, and driving revenue via the marketing playbook and experience you bring. This is an opportunity for an experienced, talented marketing generalist to make an immediate impact. The Director will also influence web/app merchandising and build and manage a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement retention marketing strategies.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
- Design and optimize customer journeys.
- Create lifecycle marketing programs.
- Use data and analytics to improve campaign performance.
- Leverage automation tools and implement enabling technologies.
- Collaborate with Product, Partners, Brand, and Creative teams.
- Manage the content calendar in partnership with the Brand team.
- Conduct testing to refine marketing tactics.
- Track performance and implement transparent reporting.
- Ownership for email and push channels, marketing content creation calendar, site merchandising and partner banner management.
- Build, lead and mentor the marketing team.
Skills And Experience
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant experience; MBA a plus.
- Experience:
10+ years in marketing; commercial retail experience is preferred.
- Environment:
High-growth start-up experience in building and leading teams through change. Ability to operate and thrive in ambiguity. Strong sense of ownership.
- Skills:
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, leadership, and data analysis. Excellent communication and team-building skills.
- Nice to Haves:
A background in fashion or luxury product segments and experience working in a remote-first startup environment.
