They’re on the lookout for a Manager—Compliance Assurance & Internal Controls. Fancy title, right? Basically, you’ll be the compliance cop, making sure all the bank’s ducks are in a row. And not just any ducks—think Karachi and Faisalabad branches. So yeah, some travel or at least a change of scenery is in the cards.

Let’s talk credentials

If you’ve slogged through an MBA or similar degree (and managed to keep that CGPA above 3.0—no slacking), you’re halfway there. But don’t even think about applying if you haven’t put in 5-7 years in audit, compliance, or snooping around branches for trouble. You gotta know your way around Computerized Audit Techniques and data analytics. Bonus points if Excel doesn’t make you cry.

You’ll need to spot compliance risks

Tackle data like a pro, and write reports that don’t send people straight to sleep. Oh, and you’ll be training staff on compliance and anti–money laundering stuff, so get ready to share your wisdom. Cross-functional teamwork, quick fixes, and chasing down regional folks for follow-ups? All in a day’s work.
