Unit Head Software Development and Integration

𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
Lahore

𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related technical field from HEC recognized university

𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘
At least 7-10 years of relevant hands-on experience with Java Web, Services REST, SOAP and API Gateway and micro-services, Design, develop, maintain java based web applications and web, services throughout application lifecycle.

𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪𝗟𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗘 & 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦

➡️ Database skills-preferably Oracle DB along with SQL programming
➡️ Strong problem-solving skills along with the ability to work independently, highly motivated with strong self-learning abilities.
➡️ Excellent oral and written communication skills

𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗘𝗦 & 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦

➡️ Work with the Software Development and Integration Department Head and business teams to develop the required application.
➡️ Monitor, update and communicate project timelines and key milestones.
➡️ Obtain feedback from senior management and incorporate their opinions on project progress.
➡️ Understanding potential technical issues (speed bumps) and real business needs and concerns.

➡️ Schedule and assign tasks to developers and follow up on work results to ensure operational requirements are met.
➡️ Provide any development or support to existing business applications so as not to disrupt day-to-day business (BAU).
➡️ Ensure availability of technical documentation and user manuals for business applications.
➡️ Manage resources to meet business needs and deadlines.
➡️ Set team priorities, achieve team results, maintain an inclusive and positive work environment, support team development, and review resource performance.
➡️ Providing technical knowledge and support to the team, reviewing source code management, and maintaining coding and product quality.
