1- Mechanical Engineer
Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE

Description:

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for a team of Supervisors. The Mechanical Engineer typically operates on one or multiple projects and is responsible for all mechanical activities (internal and external) on the project. In this capacity, he is responsible for the Engineering & Execution of mechanical activities at site in line with the Projects goals to Assure the Smooth Project Handing Over.

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise with all stake holders (Main Contractors, Consultants, Client and internal departments) to ensure project deliverables are catered during the engineering, execution and close out of the project.
• Coordinating with Junior Engineers and Supervisors in quantifying total material and labour requirements for the project, ensuring timely order of materials, planning / arranging of labour / sub-contractors.
• Check for the options to propose good value engineering solutions on the designs which could mutually benefit all stakeholders, including a potential improvement to the budgeted profit margins.
• In some projects the engineer should manage the Electrical Supervisors and work progress and related to electrical works as per Business requirements.
• Liaising with authorities for approvals and having up-to-date knowledge on the current regulations and standards.

Job Requirements:

• 8 years of experience in MEP Contracting Companies, at least 5 years in UAE
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Equivalency Certificate for his Degree from The UAE Ministry of Education.
• Preferable to Be Approved ADMT/DM Engineer.
