Description:

Responsibility of the job holder is to ensure the best practices are implemented in regard to monetary controls at site level, in compliance with company’s and government’s policies and procedures. Supports the business in safeguarding the assets of the company through cash/inventory and month-end processes. Rectifying false practices by recommending correcting actions to ensure that all ethical standards and industry best practices are consistently adopted are a part of the job holder’s responsibilities and report the same in order to have strong financial controls on activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Stock Taking or “inventory checking” is the physical verification of the quantities and condition of items held in an inventory or warehouse. This may be done to provide an audit of existing stock. It is also the source of stock discrepancy information.
• Creates and maintains accurate written procedures for the primary inventory control functions and processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the stock management system implemented.
• Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock.
• Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Finance Graduation
• Experience: 3- to 5 years experience
• System Skills: Good
• Interpersonal Skills: Good
