Job Overview:

The Supervisor Sewing (Denim) has the task of supervising the daily sewing line operations to make sure that the production targets, quality standards, and efficiency goals are constantly reached. The effective management of the workforce, control of the workflow, assurance of the quality, and strict following of the approved sewing methods and safety standards are required by this role. The supervisor is very important in the reduction of defects, the performance of the line, and the timely delivery support of denim garments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily sewing line operations for denim garments

• Ensure achievement of production targets, efficiency levels, and quality standards

• Monitor in-line quality and guide operators to prevent defects and rework

• Manage sewing line manpower, attendance, and skill-based operator placement

• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering, Cutting, and Planning teams

• Resolve sewing-related issues involving machines, attachments, and workmanship

• Maintain and submit daily production, efficiency, and defect reports

• Ensure safety compliance, discipline, and proper housekeeping on the sewing floor

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operator skill development programs

Essential Requirements:

• Education: Matric / Intermediate

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in denim garment sewing

• Core Competencies:

  • Strong supervision and leadership skills

  • In-depth knowledge of denim sewing operations

  • Ability to manage workflow and improve line performance

  • Good coordination and problem-solving abilities

  • Understanding of quality standards and safety practices
