You’ll be in charge of the whole shipping circus: booking containers, chasing down freight quotes, wrangling all those lovely export papers. Basically, if something’s heading out the door, you’re the one making sure it doesn’t get stuck in customs hell.

What you’ll actually do:

– Book containers with shipping lines and agents.
– Hunt down freight quotes. Haggle a little. Don’t get ripped off.
– Prep and double-check shipping docs: invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin. If you don’t know what those are, probably not the job for you.
– Keep clients, carriers, and customs folks in the loop. No ghosting allowed.
– Track shipments like a hawk—late cargo is your worst nightmare.
– Keep records tidy and whip up some basic logistics reports. Nothing fancy, just don’t let it turn into a paper avalanche.

Who we’re looking for:

– You’ve got at least 2 years doing this kind of stuff (freight forwarding or logistics ops).
– You actually get how export/import and all those shipping rules work. Incoterms don’t make you sweat.
– You can wrangle Excel and logistics software without cussing out your computer (well, not too much).
– Organization is your thing, and you can talk to people without sounding like a robot.
