Job Responsibilities:
- Negotiate with freight suppliers and determine method of shipment
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
- Ensure the delivery and receipt of our products within the required timeline
- Prepare the transport and customs documentation
- Minimize transport costs (duties and taxes charged to the company) specifically at customs but also by analyzing the best transportation options
- Track and Follow-up on equipment deliveries at our customer sites
Job Requirements:
- College Diploma in Operations Management or Supply Chain & Logistics Management
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or APICS is strongly preferred
- 2-3 years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2-3 years’ experience in detailed administrative work
- Demonstrated excellence in operating MRP/ERP systems
- Import/Export and purchasing experience in a Manufacturing setting is desirable
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills, to both technical and non-technical audiences
