We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Control Inspector for Meat to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our meat products meet the desired quality standards and comply with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control inspections of meat products to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
• Analyze production records and test data to identify any quality issues and deviations from specifications
• Keep a record of controls and oversee procedures to ensure quality standards are maintained
• Communicate any quality issues to production staff and management and work collaboratively to implement corrective actions
• Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards
• Travel around Middle East and North Africa to conduct inspections as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in food engineering, industrial engineering, chemistry or a related field
• 2-3 years of previous experience in quality control for the food industry, preferably in meat production
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of technical specifications and regulations related to meat production
• Advanced negotiation skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Arabic and English. Portuguese/Spanish language skills are preferable
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a charismatic and professional presence
• Available for travel around Middle East and North Africa
