Position : ASSISTANT MANAGER/ DEPUTY MANAGER-HSE

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE professional to join our team as “Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager – HSE” at our processing plant. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in occupational health, safety, and environmental management to strengthen compliance and enhance workplace safety standards.

QUALIFICATION: BSC/MSC CERTIFICATIONS: IOSH, NEBOSH AND OSHAS (Exposure to SMETA will be an added advantage)

EXPERIENCE: 05-08 Years of Experience (Preferably from relevant or textile industry)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, review and implement comprehensive health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and standards that meet legal and industry requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards in the workplace, evaluate the risks related to the hazards, and put into place controls intended to minimize incident occurrence.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety process audits to ensure compliance with regulations and environmental policies.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs that provide all area employees with knowledge of hazards in the workplace, safe work practices, and guidelines for emergency preparedness.
• Manage the fire safety/emergency response programs and conduct regular drills to prepare for emergencies.
• Confirm proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE); ensure adherence to work site safety and health at all levels of staff.
• Investigate all workplace incidents, identify root cause, and recommend corrective/preventive action.
• Perform any additional relevant duties assigned by Line Manager as needed to support safety and compliance.
