Job Responsibilities:
– Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, budgets, forecasts and other reports and recommends appropriate financial actions.
– Manages and substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents (i.e. suppliers, aggregators).
– Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
– Secures financial information by creating and maintaining up-to-date database backups.
– Prepares payments, expenses, salaries by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
– Compute taxes, VAT and prepare statements for every quarter submission to Tax Authorities.
– Stays aware and answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
– Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Job Requirements:
– 5 – 7 years of prior work experience as an Accountant.
– Excellent knowledge of regional accounting regulations and procedures.
– Hands-on experience with SAP and other accounting software and highly skilled in MS Excel.
– Bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax, accounting, or finance. Additional certification is a plus.
– Skills sets required: Analytical, attention to detail, deadline-oriented and problem solving.
– Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
