Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Responsible for tasks relating to, but not limited to, SGA and Cash Accounting but could see the following general accounting areas: bank transactions, prepaids, other A/R, projects and ad hoc requests as needed
- Prepares journal entries
- Prepares and maintains monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Prepares internal management reports and ad hoc reports as needed
- Prepares year-end audit schedules and support
- Maintains Fixed Assets and Inventory module
- Assists, as necessary, in documenting, designing and testing processes and procedures affecting the financial statements or financial performance of the company
- Assists in systems and spreadsheets automation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting functions and processes
- Help Accounting Managers mentor the Staff Accountants
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of computer spreadsheets
Education And/or Experience Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA or CPA-track preferred
- Big 4 or Regional public accounting experience a plus
- 4 to 8 years of experience preferred
- Workday financials experience a plus
