Al Bahri Engineering Consultancy
Senior Interior Designer | Jobs In Dubai
Alright, here’s the deal—we need a Senior Interior Designer, but not the type who gets their kicks just shuffling mood boards around or binge-saving inspo pics. We’re after someone who gets the blood, sweat, and tears that go into transforming a plain old room into something folks actually remember. If you live for that kind of challenge and your portfolio isn’t just a bunch of trendy throw pillows, hit us up. Still interested? Good. Keep going.
Who Are We?
Al Bahri Engineering Consultancy. Maybe you’ve heard of us, maybe not. Either way, we’re a pretty big deal in the UAE when it comes to engineering and design. We crank out commercial, residential, and hospitality projects that don’t just look good—they work. Our crew is all about creative ideas, teamwork, and, honestly, not settling for boring.
What You’ll Actually Do:
– Take the wheel on interior design projects from “Hey, I’ve got an idea” all the way to “Wow, that’s finished?”
– Whip up mood boards, concepts, presentations, and fancy drawings like it’s just another Tuesday—seriously, you’ll be doing this in your sleep.
– Work hand-in-hand with architects, designers, engineers, random consultants—whoever’s on the project. Lone wolf vibes? Nope, not here.
– Actually listen to clients. Sometimes they have no clue what they want (classic), so you’ll play detective and help them figure it out.
– Keep the junior crew from wandering off into the weeds—mentor, nudge, or just give ’em a well-timed reality check when needed.- Make sure all your brilliant ideas actually pass the UAE’s codes and regulations. No shortcuts, sorry.
– Watch the clock and the budget. Nobody likes surprises (unless it’s a surprise coffee).
– Get out of the office sometimes—visit sites, keep tabs on what’s happening, and make sure the vision doesn’t get lost in translation.
What We’re Looking For:
– Degree or diploma in Interior Design (or something close enough that you can convince us).
– At least 10 years in the business, and yeah, we’re talking real UAE project experience, not just school assignments.
– You speak fluent AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite. If you need to Google those, this isn’t for you.
– Eyes like a hawk for color, space, and materials—details matter.
– You can actually talk to clients without breaking into a sweat.
– Juggling multiple projects? Piece of cake.
– Leadership chops. You know how to run a team, not just follow.
