We are seeking trustworthy candidates who work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. Accountants can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. You should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send renewal submission packages to the markets for placements.
• Monitor the placements
• Check the security ratings of the reinsurers
• Check treaty wordings and all other relevant reinsurance arrangements
• Advise final signed lines to reinsurers once the placements are decided
• Ensure signed slips are fully executed
• Ensure treaty playbook and technical books are updated
• Ensure treaty arrangements are appropriately set-up in front-end systems
• Ensure adequate and efficient archiving of all treaty documents.

Requirements:

• At least 4-5 years’ experience in a reinsurance function with handling treaty reinsurance responsibilities
• Graduate degree preferably
• Certification in insurance. Has ideally achieved ACII or studying towards it
