Description:

Raha Beach Ventures works with founders to create innovative, impactful, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to use products. We’re looking for an experienced UI/UX Product designer to transform ideas and features to tangible prototypes and products that will help clients in our region and beyond. This dynamic UI/UX designer will be responsible for the design of our products’ user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). They will ensure that all aspects of the products are optimized for enhanced usability, usefulness, and exception visual design. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems. They stay current on best practices and emerging trends in the space and work closely with product managers and clients to identify gaps in the design and improve them.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with product managers to create mocks and sketches that visualize new features/layouts. Iterate and improve designs in coordination with product manager feedback.
• Contribute to the development of a consistent, flexible, and extensible design system and reusable components
• Transform low-fidelity designs into fully-realized screens across mobile and desktop, relying heavily on an existent style guide and component library
• Produce development-ready output that can be handed off to the Dev Team with appropriate specifications (e.g. interaction notes, thorough documentation of edge-case states, error messages, instruction copy, etc.)

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
• Experience designing complex workflows, ideally in a B2B context
• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Figma, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite
