Job Key
- Oversee the Imports and Exports team to ensure efficient and high-quality shipment processes
- Collaborate closely with the head of Freight at the Group Level and follow their instructions
- Make sure services are executed in accordance with defined processes, terms and timeframes
- Ensure compliance with state, customs as well as other applicable regulations for service fulfillment
- Obtain and process all required documentation for imports and/or exports
- Accurately bill Business Units based on the logistics price list for provided services
- Verify accuracy of Freight Forwarder invoices according to the agreed price list
- Ensure all shipments are properly insured
- Investigate and settle claims related to shipments
- Attend operational meetings with Freight Forwarders, Customs, Customers as well as other stakeholders
- Provide accurate reporting and analysis as per management requirements
- Train, guide and support team members in carrying out their tasks effectively
- Coordinate and allocate the team’s workload for smooth execution
Job Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding or similar industries
- Experience in stakeholder management required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of state, customs as well as other applicable regulations
- Proficiency in handling import as well as export documentation
- Familiarity with logistics pricing and billing processes
- Must be able to investigate and settle claims
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in reporting and data analysis
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Must have good knowledge of Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001) procedures
- A strong commitment to quality, health and safety, environmental procedures and security protocols required
