Job Key

  • Oversee the Imports and Exports team to ensure efficient and high-quality shipment processes
  • Collaborate closely with the head of Freight at the Group Level and follow their instructions
  • Make sure services are executed in accordance with defined processes, terms and timeframes
  • Ensure compliance with state, customs as well as other applicable regulations for service fulfillment
  • Obtain and process all required documentation for imports and/or exports
  • Accurately bill Business Units based on the logistics price list for provided services
  • Verify accuracy of Freight Forwarder invoices according to the agreed price list
  • Ensure all shipments are properly insured
  • Investigate and settle claims related to shipments
  • Attend operational meetings with Freight Forwarders, Customs, Customers as well as other stakeholders
  • Provide accurate reporting and analysis as per management requirements
  • Train, guide and support team members in carrying out their tasks effectively
  • Coordinate and allocate the team’s workload for smooth execution

Job Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding or similar industries
  • Experience in stakeholder management required
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of state, customs as well as other applicable regulations
  • Proficiency in handling import as well as export documentation
  • Familiarity with logistics pricing and billing processes
  • Must be able to investigate and settle claims
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in reporting and data analysis
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Must have good knowledge of Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001) procedures
  • A strong commitment to quality, health and safety, environmental procedures and security protocols required
