𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞: Solar Design Engineer C&I (2+ Years Experience)
𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Karachi, Pakistan (Full-Time/ On-site)
𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥: Mid-Level (2+ Years)
𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫: Male
𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠: 50% to 70% travelling required

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞:
We are seeking a Solar Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in designing both residential and industrial solar PV systems. This role will be responsible for detailed system design, performance analysis, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution from concept to commissioning.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

• Evaluate and design tailored solar PV solutions for residential and industrial clients using software capable of designing PV systems including but not limited to AutoCAD, Helioscope, PVSyst, or equivalent software
• Create detailed System layouts, SLDs (single-line diagrams), and electrical schematics
• Conduct site evaluations based on remote satellite images and on location
• Estimate energy performance and yields
• Responsibilities include liaising with project managers, installation teams, and sales engineers
• Ensure compliance with NEPRA, local building codes and utility requirements
• Provide support documentation for permit and grid connection.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline
• 2+ years of relevant work experience designing industrial and residential solar systems
• Experience with solar design programs (AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope, etc.)
• Knowledge of the components that make up PV systems, and inverter selection
• Knowledge of local electrical code regulations and utility interconnection procedures
• Ability to think analytically and critically, solve problems and communicate effectively
• Experience with battery storage systems and hybrid applications
• Knowledge of solar payback period and return on investment calculations
