Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE

Description:

To provide the highest standard of evidence based medical care for company staff and their dependents, within the quality and accreditation standards to meet General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulatory requirements, whilst remaining within strict budgetary controls. Provide clinical support in ensuring a comprehensive Primary Health Care (PHC) service is offered by EK Medical services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide roster based clinical assessments and management for specified function across medical services optimising health care for employees of the Emirates Group and their dependants.
  • Deliver quality assured, value driven health care in line with local and international best practice standards and available resources whilst maintaining continuity of care. This includes but is not limited to prescribing, laboratory, radiology and internal/external specialist referrals.
  • Document all medical care and advice given within the approved electronic medical record and in line with best practice governance standards for Medical Records.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) MBChB, MBBS, MD, or the equivalent medical degree from an accredited university medical school.
  • Licensed as a Specialist or Consultant with the DHA or ability to gain such registration in line with DHA PQR
  • Qualifications and experience satisfactory to the EK Clinic privileging committee for credentialing in specific specialist area
  • GCAA designation as an AME (or ability to be designated as an AME) is advantageous.
