Job Responsibilities:

• Continuous development of the Quality Assurance & Control manual.
• Continuous development of the Design & Engineering manual.
• Generate material submittals, material specification logs.
• Liaise with clients and secure approvals for proposed materials.
• Review used materials and identify opportunities for quality, performance, or commercial enhancement.
• Identify newly introduced or innovative materials in the market and propose applications in product range.
• Develop creative and technically sound solutions to enhance and develop product range.
• Responsible for internal and external technical Change Control, Requesting Information, & Non-conformity reports.
• Coordinates with the external certification bodies for the certification and surveillance audit of the business units.
• Assures that the quality management system is properly implemented in the business units, through periodical internal audits and provides a full audit report to the BU management.
• Prepares Quality Assurance report by creating key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the current processes such as number of non-conformance reports, number of change requests, volume of rework etc.
• Determines the root causes of the nonconformities and improves the processes by eliminating them and enhance the continual improvement of the quality standards at the business unit.
• Studies Tender/project documents and prepares tender/project quality plan for submission.
• Support the Tender & Estimation team with material selection and proposals.
• Provides the Engineering Department with the approved materials and required technical information for design.
• Ensures design compliance with the approved material and tender proposal.
• Provides Quality Control Department with required method statements, testing procedures for project materials.
• Provides Production Team with required method statements for material application.
• Provides Supply Chain Department with approved material log and specification.

Job Requirements:

• Strong material specification, application, and laboratory testing knowledge.
• Well versed in Performance, Perspective, Proprietary, & Construction Specifications & Standards.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and testing standards (ASHRAE, ISO, ASTM, DIN, BS EN, etc).
• Knowledge of local and international construction codes (DM, Trakhees, Civil Defence, IBC, SBC, etc).
• Knowledge of specialist third party organization standards (LEED, BREEAM, DGNB, Estidama, WELL, etc).
• Well versed in operational procedures and methodologies, with the ability in develop and implement.
• Well versed in quality management systems (QMS), with the ability to develop and implement.
• Familiarity with material commercials and budgeting.
• Strong understanding of product cycle, development, and optimization.
