Now, we’re on the hunt for a Stewarding Team Leader / Supervisor—basically someone who doesn’t freak out over a pile of dirty dishes and can get a crew running like a well-oiled (but clean) machine.

What You’ll Actually Do

So this isn’t just a job of telling people what to do—it’s a job of getting your hands dirty and managing the madness in the background. You will be managing the stewarding team, coordinating that the team knows what they are doing (and when), and you will keep everyone on the right track and the kitchen clean (if you see one crumb, you will probably be chasing it down). We are referring to HACCP. Dubai’s strict rules, the whole nine yards. You’ll keep tabs on supplies, train newbies, handle any equipment drama, and just generally make sure nothing catches fire (figuratively, but also literally).

Here’s the List (Because People Love Lists)

– Boss around (uh, “supervise and coordinate”) the stewarding crew daily.
– Hand out jobs and sort out who’s working when—no one wants chaos.
– Make sure everyone’s actually following those hygiene rules (HACCP and Dubai Municipality, so yeah, it’s serious).
– Watch how cleaning gear gets used—no one likes a broken mop.
– Keep every corner of the kitchen and back-of-house cleaner than your grandma’s living room.
– Don’t run out of cleaning stuff. Ever. You’ll be the one everyone yells at.
– Show the rookies the ropes.
– If something breaks, shout about it fast. Maintenance teams love surprises.

What We’re Looking For (No Unicorns, Just Good People)

– You’ve done the stewarding thing for at least 2-3 years, and actually led a team (at least a year in charge, not just “helping”).
– You know your way around food safety rules and can spot a hygiene violation from ten feet away.
– You’re not scared of basic computer stuff—schedules, inventory, maybe the occasional spreadsheet.
– Shifts? Weekends? Holidays?
– Even better. Need someone who can jump in ASAP.
