What you’ll do

  • Provide Engineering & Technical support to Operation, Maintenance and EHS.
  • Provide Technical expertise and support to project Management activities through all phases of projects spanning Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Recommissioning, through hand-over of project facilities to the end users.
  • Lead Technical & Conceptual studies and Services through specialist Consultants.
  • Secure end-user requirements, project life cycle and EHS requirements within Schedule and budget.
  • Participate and ensure the preparation of Statement of Requirements (SOR) and/or Scope of Work (SOW) for all projects.
  • Maintain smooth Engineering interfaces with all other Disciplines in order to ensure Availability, Operational Readiness, Reliability and Integrity of Assets.
  • Lead conceptual, FEED and Detail design of Structural Engineering, Meeting design intent, Ensuring compliance to safety, Integrity, Sustainability practices and Statutory Requirements.
  • Review and /or Develop designs in accordance to British, UAE and American standards pertaining to Structural Design, Fabrication/construction, Inspection, Testing & Installation practices.
  • Review and /or Develop Structural designs of Foundations, Sub-Structures and Super Structures in
  • Buildings, Infrastructure, Industrial and Specialist structures associated with Oil & Gas / Petrochemical Industry.
  • Ensure review process is in line with Stage Gate project life cycle processes.
  • Lead Structural Engineering by approving Design, Calculations, Analysis, Engineering Specifications & Data sheets, Collection of input data from Site/Operations.

Education & Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Nine (9) years of experience in applying the discipline skills in the oil and gas industry.
