Tara Group, which is the top producer of agrochemicals and pesticides in Pakistan, is looking for a very trained and inspired Assistant Manager – Quality Control (Pesticides) at its Lab & Manufacturing Plant in Lahore. It is a fantastic chance for people with great professional experience in chemistry and quality control to take charge of lab processes, give assistance to R&D work, and maintain the production of pesticides at the highest quality standards.

The assistant manager in charge of quality control will have a close relationship with the production team and the R&D department to keep the product quality uniform, assure that the regulations are met, and introduce the best methods in quality management and analytical testing. This position demands not only that the person has very good practical skills with the latest laboratory instruments but also that he/she has very good analytical skills and is a good leader capable of managing the QC personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise QC testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pesticide products

• Review analytical results and approve/reject production batches based on specifications

• Support R&D trials, formulation improvements, and stability studies

• Coordinate in-process quality checks and troubleshoot production quality issues

• Ensure compliance with SOPs, ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation, audit-ready records, and quality reports

• Supervise, mentor, and train QC laboratory staff for operational efficiency

Requirements & Qualifications:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry or a related discipline

• 3–5 years of relevant QC experience in pesticides, agrochemicals, or related industries

• Hands-on experience with analytical equipment, including HPLC and GC

• Strong knowledge of pesticide formulations, QC testing methods, and laboratory procedures

• Excellent analytical, documentation, coordination, and supervision skills
