Job Responsibilities:

 Develop and implement lessons and work schemes, using the Early Years Foundation Stage as a
framework
 work effectively as part of an Early Years Team
 provide a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
 organise and supervise play and work activities (for example reading, cooking, music, dancing etc)
 attend relevant meetings/professional development opportunities at the nursery if required to
 liaise with parents and keeping them up to date on their child's progress
 maintain records
 monitor and record progress
 ensure students readiness for primary school where appropriate
 deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject/s that you teach
 responsible for the preparation and development of teaching materials, teaching programmes
 clear understanding of the individual needs of each child in your class
 provide a stimulating and educational environment for children

Job Requirements:

 You must hold a UK Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
 Very good standard of spoken and written English
 Previous experience in teaching in a nursery setting
 Previous experience of using the EYFS
 Love working with children
 Be positive, a team player, resilient
