Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure all asset records are accurate and up to date.
Monitor asset additions, disposals, transfers, and write-offs, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
Ensure all assets are properly tagged with unique identification numbers for efficient tracking and management.
Conduct periodic physical verification of fixed assets to ensure alignment with asset records.
Work with auditors during fixed asset audits, providing necessary records and explanations.
Collaborate with IT or other departments to streamline fixed asset management systems.
Provide guidance to other departments on asset-related policies and procedures.

TheCitySchool is looking to fill the position of Junior Manager Design & Construction at the Regional Office – North, Islamabad.

Responsibilities:

Assist in managing construction and renovation projects from initiation to completion.
Support in overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Work alongside architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and review structural designs, drawings, and plans using AutoCAD and other design tools.
Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure that all construction work meets the required standards and specifications.
Provide technical support on structural design and construction methods to project teams and contractors.
Support in monitoring project budgets, controlling costs, and preparing financial reports related to construction and renovation projects.
Assist in liaising with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
Help identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and quality.
Assist in preparing regular project updates, progress reports, and status reviews for senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure that construction activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
Regular travel to various project sites within the Northern Region is required.
