TheCitySchool is looking to fill the position of Junior Manager Quantity Surveyor at the Head Office, Lahore.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate and forecast the cost of materials required for various construction projects.
• Prepare and manage tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities (BOQs), and other related documentation.
• Develop Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), ensuring appropriate selection of construction materials based on strength and suitability.
• Create shop drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS) for structural activities.
• Conduct rate analysis for non-BOQ items to support accurate cost planning.
• Assist in managing escalation claims and variation orders, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professional staff.
• Draft and process subcontractors’ work orders/agreements and verify their billing.
• Perform cost analysis and recommend value engineering strategies to optimise project expenditure.
• Inspect properties to assess current conditions and provide relevant evaluations.
• Utilise computer-aided design (CAD) software for simulations and technical planning.
• Execute any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by management.
