• Plan audits in accordance with area and risk, outlining objectives, scope and specific risks.
• Prepare comprehensive and effective audit programs to identify opportunities for improved controls within the relevant area.
• Objective testing will include the examination of records, reports, operating practices and documentation to assure compliance to internal controls procedures.
• Draft formal written reports, recording opinions based on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system and the efficiency of the results achieved.
• Assess the adequacy of corrective actions in relation to deficient conditions identified in audits.
• Assist in the development of the annual audit plan to ensure audit objectives and priorities are fully addressed.
