Position Summary: The Trade Merchandiser plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the product assortment, inventory levels, and promotions for trade retail outlets in the UAE. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including suppliers, sales teams, and store managers, to ensure effective product placement, timely replenishment, and profitable sales. The Trade Merchandiser is responsible for maximizing sales and profitability by analysing market trends, monitoring competitors’ activities, and implementing merchandising strategies that align with the company’s goals.

 Responsibilities:
- Assortment Planning: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify consumer preferences, buying patterns, and market trends. Based on this information, curate and develop an appropriate product assortment for different store locations in the UAE.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and analyse sales data to ensure optimal inventory levels at each store. Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to facilitate timely replenishment and avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
- Visual Merchandising: Create eye-catching and appealing displays that attract customers and enhance the shopping experience. Ensure that the brand’s image and guidelines are followed consistently across all stores.
- Promotions and Pricing: Develop and execute promotional strategies to drive sales and clear slow-moving inventory. Conduct pricing analysis to set competitive and profitable pricing for products.

Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in merchandising, retail, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers, sales teams, and store personnel effectively.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual merchandising and product presentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using merchandising software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of the UAE retail market and consumer preferences.
- Fluency in English, Hindi & Malayalam.
