What you’ll be doing

  • Ensuring cover is available at least one day of the weekend for urgent pre-op scans.
  • Ensuring Equipment is in good condition.
  • Identifying need for new Equipment to meet patient demand, working with supply chain to Organize demo.
  • Assist staff Physicians and fellows in Research projects and data entry.
  • Develop and Implement process Improvement Initiatives based on vascular needs.
  • Attending meetings where vascular lab input is required.
  • Liaison with other medical and non-medical staff at CCAD to ensure quality patient treatment.
  • Help to Accommodate late patients, urgent add-ons, Executive health, VIP, and Royal patients. This includes taking calls and answering email requests.
  • Managing vascular Ultrasound Schedules, to support one stop clinics, same day scans and stats.
  • Scan clinic patient and inpatients daily outside of admin time and when ever needed.
  • Help to “round” on patients in the outpatient waiting area when there are delays in the vascular ultrasound appointment.
  • Be aware of insurance denials and provide information to referring physicians to assist with reducing the number.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in vascular or Sonography related field. OR Graduate of an accredited Vascular program or Allied health Vascular ultrasound program (minimum 2 year curriculum).
  • 2 years post-certification experience in Vascularis required.
  • Eligible to be licensed by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi as Cardiovascular Technologist (ECG), Cardiovascular Technician (ECG) or ECG Technician.
  • Applicants with ECG technician background/license require a minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Cardiac Technologist plus CCI certification.
