The Business Development Executive will focus on generating leads and securing clients through Upwork. This role involves identifying relevant job opportunities, crafting high-quality customized proposals, maintaining the Upwork profile, and organizing supporting materials to improve conversion rates.

Responsibilities

Search and identify relevant jobs on Upwork Evaluate which jobs are worth applying to Understand client requirements by carefully reading job descriptions Write strong, customized proposals tailored to each job Maintain and optimize the Upwork profile Collect and organize materials such as: Client testimonials Work samples Service details Portfolio content Track job applications and follow-ups systematically Improve proposal success rate and profile performance

Qualifications

Excellent written English and communication skills Minimum 1 year of experience writing Upwork proposals (2–3 years preferred) Experience in managing and optimizing an Upwork profile Ability to understand client needs and respond effectively Strong organizational and research skills Self-motivated and able to work independently (remote role)
