What We Actually Want:

You’ve gotta have a BSc in Textile or Industrial Engineering. Not negotiable. Plus, if you haven’t spent at least a decade in a solid textile or home textile company—half of that in a manager’s chair—eh, probably not a fit. Major brownie points if you’ve wrestled with Made-Ups QC, especially for exports. That’s our jam.

Daily Grind (aka, What You’ll Really Be Doing):

– Run the QC show from the first thread to the last box out the door. Raw material? Check. On the line? Check. Final inspection? Triple check.
– Make sure what we ship matches what the buyer wants. No “close enough” here.
– Babysit (sorry—guide and motivate) the QC team so things actually get done.
– Spot defects like a hawk, figure out where stuff went sideways, and fix it so it doesn’t happen again. CAPA, baby.
– Be the audit ninja. Handle both the home team and the outsiders poking around. SOPs? You live and breathe ’em.
– Keep those inspection records tight. If it’s not written down, it didn’t happen.
– Team up with the folks in production, R&D, and merchandising to squash problems fast.
– Not afraid to suggest better tools or smarter systems? Yes, please. We like people who shake things up.

What You Gotta Know & Bring:

– Gotta be a QC pro—AQL, inspection techniques, all the technical bits. If you don’t know what those are, we’re in trouble.
– You should know your way around home textiles and how different fabrics behave (or misbehave).
– Can you actually lead people, explain stuff, and figure things out? That’s huge.
– If MS Office or ERP systems confuse you, better brush up fast.
– Reporting, documentation, problem-solving—if you’re not organized and sharp, this gig will eat you alive.
