Key Accountabilities

  • Carryout drafting and 3D Modelling activities using PDMS/ CADMATIC based on design inputs provided by Design Engineers/ Supervisors.
  • Preparation of ISO drawings for ducting and piping.
  • Spool extraction from 3D model to develop fabrication drawing. Clash checking with other services.
  • Prepare coordination drawings.
  • Prepare layouts, detailed drawings, production /construction drawings and MTOs/ bill of quantities.
  • Prepare drawing such as General arrangement/ Layouts, shop drawings, technical details, penetration drawings, equipment support details, and construction details as part of detailed engineering.
  • Prepare HVAC Equipment schedule and MTO for ducting and piping. Assist HVAC Engineer to prepare the duct and pipe pressure drop calculation.
  • Carryout site measurements for the preparation of drawings and incorporating changes and comments.
  • Liaise with other design/ drafting personnel to identify/ incorporate interfaces.
  • Follow DDW-D and Project specific drawing and document control procedures.
  • Ensure comments/ changes are properly tracked and incorporated.
  • Store/ file drawings and documents in the order as per relevant procedure.
  • Support procurement and fabrication/ construction activities, keep track of redline mark-ups, as built documentation etc.
  • Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

Qualification / Experience & Skills

  • Diploma in any discipline
  • Advanced Knowledge in 3D Modelling software PDMS, CDMATIC Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD and Drafting Tools, MS Office.
  • 8 years of relevant experience in drafting / interior modelling field
  • Knowledge in Drafting software’s mainly Auto CAD.
  • Knowledge in MS Office such as Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge in ERP software preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in Ship repair / Offshore Projects.
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
