We are looking for an Application Security Specialist. As an Application Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our software applications. Your responsibilities will include implementing security controls, conducting vulnerability assessments, and promoting secure coding practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain application security policies and procedures.
- Implement security controls during the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze code, networks, and applications for potential vulnerabilities.
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new projects.
- Perform Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing.
- Implement remediation solutions for identified vulnerabilities.

Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 6-8 years of experience performing penetration testing, secure code review, and static, dynamic and manual source code review.
- Experience in using various commercial and open-source penetration testing tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of cryptography and data safeguarding techniques.
- Familiarity with automation tools for testing workload reduction.
- Quick decision-making to prevent release delays due to security issues.
- Ability to think creatively and anticipate possible threats.
