Reporting to the Middle East India & Africa (MEIA) Managing Director, and working closely with the Headquarters Finance team based in Paris, your role as Finance Manager MEIA is to be responsible for the correct adequacy between Hermès Parfum et Beauté strategic goals and MEIA financial objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively prepare and challenge yearly and B+2 budgets with Managing Director, local and central teams. Improve existing formats if necessary
  • Ensure the achievement of the financial targets and play a key role in communication of risks and opportunities vs objectives, as a main partner to the local Managing Director
  • Prepare monthly closings in collaboration with central accountancy
  • Prepare yearly closings in collaboration with central accountancy
  • Measure and analyse gaps between YTD results and budget / Prepare YTGo analysis
  • Follow up all budgets (communication and general overheads)
  • Daily follow up MEIA invoicing and organize weekly meetings with the commercial team to identify risks and opportunities and further maximize the monthly invoicing in a timely manner
  • Improve existing wholesale and sell out result tracking tool and provide team with monthly dashboard including sales panel, Top 10 markets, stores and references
  • Set up and monitor defined key performance indicators
  • Set up tools and processes for the accounting and finance topics
  • Follow up the regional investment process
  • Actively participate to the monthly team meeting and provide team with vision, guidelines, reminders, KPIs

Job Requirements:

  • You have a Master’s Degree in Finance or in Economics
  • Fluent in English and French is a must
  • You are Business oriented and have knowledge of basic accountancy
  • You have 5 to 8-year experience in business controlling in a context of rapid growth
  • Experience in Perfumes & Cosmetics and in retail/wholesale would be an asset
  • Good understanding of retail principles and practices
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
  • Highly organised team player
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Proactive and flexible
  • Strong IT capabilities including: MS Office, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, TM1 and SAP
