Your Duties As A Nurse Administrator

  • Transform organizational values into daily operations to make an efficient and caring organization.
  • Management of designated clinical nursing practice.
  • Management of programs and services that are evidence based and support the clinical practice of nursing.
  • Work as per the Department of Nursing’s vision, mission and values and SSMC’s nursing professional practice model.
  • Part of a triad leadership model related to the assigned service lines. The triad team includes a physician, operation & nurse administrator of assigned service lines and are accountable for its overall performance.
  • Develop, maintain and evaluate policy, programs and services related to assigned functions.
  • Assess the environment, fore cast trends, transmitting values, communicating ideas, mentoring others & managing resources.
  • Ensuring nursing staff adheres to the Code of Conduct and Scope of Practice of the regulatory body.

Qualification Required

  • B.Sc degree in nursing or equivalent qualifications of NLT 3 years study from an accredited program.
  • MSc in nursing / Healthcare or management or administration field.
