JOB TITLE LOCATION
Procurement Lead Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Responsibilities:

  • This is a Home Office position based in Dubai, but it may involve occasional visits to the Client offices and/or site in Iraq. Normal working time will be 48 hours per week
  • Reporting to the Facilities Engineering Lead, the candidate will assume responsibility for development of the project contracting strategy, and for sourcing vendor provided budget information to allow development of project Cost Estimates. Candidate will also assume sole responsibility for early procurement of Long Lead Items, should this be requested by the client.
  • Consult with the engineering and design team during the delivery of FEED studies to ensure that all aspects of the design are suitable for timely and cost effective procurement.
  • Develop the project contracting strategy in accordance with Company and Client procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
  • Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
  • Must have significant Procurement experience and knowledge of global oil and gas industry supplier network.
  • Onshore oil and gas experience of major projects using prefabricated modular plant.
