Job Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Minimum 15 years’ aviation experience, and minimum of 5 years in design and overseeing implementation of automated materials handling systems, supply chain and working knowledge of airport baggage handling systems.
- Demonstration of successful involvement in customer facing projects
- Competent in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam and Visio
- Able to use AutoCAD as a means of reviewing layout drawings
- Experience of technical assessments of D&B contractor’s submissions through the procurement, final design phase and construction (design verification for compliance, response to RFIs, evaluation of alternate design solutions and constructability issues, shop drawing and 3D model reviews)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines is essential
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communications skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Highly motivated and willing to take on new challenges
- Ability to travel within GCC and to relocate to Kuwait
- Minimum 1-year commitment to the role
- Meet the base competency requirements for Grade 5
